Some may say we create temporary illusions. We like to think we leave permanent impressions — not just with our clients, but their desired audience. Creating these events from concept through final execution requires a strong understanding of who our customers are. We strive to make each new client, a new relationship meeting and exceeding their expectations again and again.

The Lancaster Chamber's Annual Dinner

Working together with the Lancaster Chamber and Franklin & Marshall College, we transform a five court fitness center into an elegant ballroom for 2,500 guests.

SHUMAKER, in coordination with the Chamber staff, the college's staff and our vendors, provides audio, video, lighting and décor — setting the backdrop for guest speakers such as former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani; former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher; Business Tycoon, Steve Forbes; former U.S. Secretary of State, Madeline Albright and in 2005, former President Bill Clinton.

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Centennial Gala
From initial concept to invitations, coordination and overall layout of the event space, SHUMAKER assisted Thaddeus Stevens College in producing their 100 th Anniversary celebration on a modest budget. The out come was an evening to remember for 300 guests.

Fulton Opera House
SHUMAKER has an ongoing relationship with the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, PA assisting with several successful fundraisers. We coordinated logistics and lighting for the installation of a 40' x 240' tent for their 150th Jubilee. This event required the closing of a major thoroughfare for 2 days, as well as installing a temporary kitchen and staging area to plate and serve 700 dinners.

We were called on again to transform an 80' x 100' tent with creative décor to coincide with the event's "Secret Garden" theme. Both events required extensive alternative planning in case of inclement weather.

It had an energy that only happens on rare occasion when everything that could go right, does go right; the weather, the tent on Prince Street, the lighting, the sound system, the security, the set-up crew, the energy. Lancaster City Events
The city of Lancaster conducts several major events, which attract 1,000 -20,000 people in attendance. SHUMAKER plays a large role in providing logistics management, installation and production of all of the following events.

New Years Eve Celebration
Not only do we manage the main stage and create video content for sponsor endorsements, but we also facilitate the raising of the city's Red Rose at the end of the evening.

4 th of July Celebration
SHUMAKER provides labor for the set up and logistical coordination of this event. We work closely with Public Relations and Special Event coordinators as well as the local police and fire departments to ensure public safety during the fireworks display.

LancasterFest a Celebration of Cultures
This event involves the management of three stages for which we provide support during setup and performances. Our well trained staff handles logistics and labor during the day including event layout, stage management, and vendor coordination.

Jazz, Brews and Blues
Sponsored by a local micro-brewery, this event entails a music festival and micro-brewery sampling area. SHUMAKER coordinates the placement and layout of the event's key elements to ensure a controlled and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
